Job summary

Doltone House Western Sydney invites an Event Supervisor to lead from the floor, guiding team members through weddings, corporate functions and large celebrations with confidence and care.

You will deliver personalised service, coordinate with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams, and ensure every detail of the run sheet, menus and service standards is flawless while maintaining safety and quality throughout events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in a function/events supervisory role.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and building positive client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain impeccable standards in all aspects of event execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings, corporate functions, high‑profile gatherings and large‑scale celebrations, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key point of contact for clients, responding confidently to requests and resolving issues.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient and high‑quality service.
• Conduct clear and engaging team briefings covering event run sheets, menus, special requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, presentation, cleanliness and functionality across front and back of house, ensuring the venue meets safety and service standards.
• Work closely with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams to coordinate event logistics and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor service standards, gather client feedback and identify opportunities to improve event delivery and the guest experience.
• Support cost control, stock management, accurate transactions and completion of post-event requirements, including pack-downs and event reports.
