Job summary

Doltone Hospitality Group – Bossley Park NSW is seeking an Event Supervisor for Doltone House Western Sydney. You will lead events from the floor, inspire your team and ensure every detail is delivered with confidence and care.

From weddings to corporate functions, you will deliver exceptional service, supervise F&B teams, run sheets, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure client satisfaction and flawless event execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a function/events supervisory role in hospitality/events.
• Strong guest service orientation and relationship building.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure seamless delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings and corporate functions, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key contact for clients, resolving issues confidently.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities for efficient service.
• Conduct clear team briefings covering run sheets, menus, special requirements and expectations.
• Oversee event setup, presentation, cleanliness and functionality across front and back of house.
• Coordinate event logistics with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams.
• Monitor service standards, gather client feedback and identify opportunities to improve guest experience.
• Support cost control, stock management, and post-event reports.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings, corporate functions, high-profile gatherings and large-scale celebrations, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key point of contact for clients, responding confidently to requests and resolving issues.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Conduct clear and engaging team briefings covering event run sheets, menus, special requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, presentation, cleanliness and functionality across front and back of house, ensuring the venue meets safety and service standards.
• Work closely with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams to coordinate event logistics and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor service standards, gather client feedback and identify opportunities to improve event delivery and the guest experience.
• Support cost control, stock management, accurate transactions and completion of post-event requirements, including pack-downs and event reports.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 4 years experience in a function/events supervisory role with the hospitality/events industry.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and building positive, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain impeccable standards in all aspects of event execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
• Professional, client focused approach with a positive attitude.
