Job summary

Royal Agricultural Society of NSW’s Sydney Showground seeks a proactive Floor Manager to coordinate event delivery across the venue. You will be the primary on-site client contact, ensuring presentation, safety and service standards are met while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, and a hands-on approach to problem solving and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Venue Management or Event Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
• Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event setup, crowd management, ticketing, patron movement, signage and venue presentation.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients during events to ensure delivery to high standards.
• Identify, resolve operational issues and coordinate with contractors, staff and internal teams.
• Monitor WHS, manage risks and protect assets during events.
