Job summary

Atlas Events on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an organised, proactive Event Operations Coordinator for a hands-on role in planning and delivering events.

The position is part-time (3 days/week) with responsibilities including precinct operations, supplier coordination, infrastructure and community consultation administration. You’ll attend race weekends and support the wider operations team as needed, based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain event and precinct operations plans.
• Coordinate site layouts, infrastructure, signage, access and operational requirements.
• Engage and coordinate event suppliers from planning through delivery.
• Monitor supplier costs against budgets and flag overruns.
• Coordinate supplier bump-in and bump-out and manage precinct setup.
• Oversee precinct operations on event days and resolve issues.
• Prepare community consultation materials and communications.
• Attend Atlas Events race weekends and work weekends for events.
