Job summary

The IRONMAN Group is seeking a highly motivated Operations Coordinator based in Noosa to support the Oceania portfolio of events. You will assist the Operations Team with planning, delivery and post-event reporting, coordinating course and venue logistics, equipment, permits and safety measures.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in events, a relevant qualification, strong MS Office skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in the events industry preferred.
• A tertiary qualification, preferably in Event Management or similar field.
• Experience managing health, safety, risk and compliance including documentation, systems and processes.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and within required deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Police clearance check.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/ CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Noosa Operations Team and participate in meetings and event delivery discussions.
• Coordinate equipment requirements for course and venue planning and delivery with cost control.
• Source, quote, order, deliver and accept products and services for event delivery.
• Create detailed event documents, site plans and briefing materials for staff and stakeholders.
• Manage permits and sanctioning documents with relevant authorities.
• Develop and implement Traffic and Transport Plans and Community Consultation.
• Liaise with police, suppliers and city council; attend site visits as required.
