Job summary

The Event Gap, a Sydney-based event management company, is seeking an Event Coordinator to join a growing team delivering conferences, exhibitions, and gala dinners across Australia and internationally. You’ll support Event Managers, learn our systems, and progressively take ownership of projects while working from our Alexandria office with Fridays as work-from-home.

You’ll assist with registration, timelines, budgets, venue liaising, and event documentation, gaining exposure to the full event

• Willing to travel interstate and internationally for events

Responsibilities

• Supporting Event Managers across multiple conferences, corporate events, awards and other projects
• Assisting with event planning, timelines, budgets and project documentation
• Managing registration and delegate information
• Building and managing registration sites and event communications
• Using event technology and platforms, including EventsAir
• Assisting with client communications and day-to-day project administration
• Liaising with venues and suppliers
• Coordinating event logistics and operational requirements
• Preparing event documentation, reports and project materials
• Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and event systems
• Supporting onsite event delivery
• Assisting with interstate and international event delivery
• Providing general project support across the wider team
