Job summary

Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor / Coordinator to lead our evening shift in a premium hotel in Perth CBD. You will take charge of all housekeeping operations from 7:30 PM to midnight, coordinating staff, managing rooms and public areas, and upholding the highest guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or coordination experience, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Confidence working independently and being in charge of the department during the evening shift.
• Availability to work from 7:30 PM to midnight.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate staff and respond to operational requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and guest satisfaction focus.
• Organised and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, proactive and hands-on approach.
• Professional presentation and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of housekeeping operations during the evening shift.
• Perform a combination of Housekeeping Coordinator and Supervisor duties.
• Coordinate and support the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Manage room allocations, priorities, and operational requirements.
• Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Respond to guest and hotel requests promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with hotel departments regarding housekeeping requirements and operational matters.
• Monitor team performance and productivity throughout the shift.
• Manage linen, amenities, supplies, and housekeeping stock as required.
• Ensure guest privacy, security, and confidentiality are maintained.
