Job summary

BYD Homebush, part of Harmony Auto NSW, is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the service department at the dealership. You will lead technicians, advisors and workshop controllers, ensuring efficient workshop operations and adherence to manufacturer standards.

The role focuses on driving customer satisfaction, profitability, and safety, with responsibility for budgeting, staff development, and warranty policy administration. Eligibility to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or related field.
• Additional business management, production management, leadership or finance training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-sales service staff and supervise work performance.
• Ensure efficient operation of the service department and profitability.
• Develop customer management strategies and set targets.
• Set the department budget based on historical data and projections.
• Identify staffing, facility and resource needs to meet goals.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and retention as top priorities.
