Job summary

Zeekr Waverley in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead the new car sales team and drive annual targets in a fast-growing EV dealership.

You'll supervise the sales staff, manage inventories, stay updated on EV incentives and model updates, and collaborate with Finance & Insurance to ensure smooth deal flow while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales management (EV experience highly valued).
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams to exceed targets.
• Deep understanding of EV market trends, incentives, and technologies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in daily sales operations and overall management of the new car department.
• Supervise and support the new car sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring sales staff.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, vehicle merchandising, and lot presentation.
• Ensure an excellent customer experience by promoting a customer-first culture.
• Handle customer escalations and assist with closing deals when necessary.
• Analyse sales performance data and report to direct manager.
• Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance to ensure smooth deal flow.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and dealership policies.
