Job summary

bp pulse ANZ seeks an Operations Lead to drive performance, continuous improvement, and governance across the EV charging network. You will oversee uptime, partner performance, reporting, and maintenance programmes while coordinating with stakeholders to enhance reliability and customer experience.

Role involves leading operational standards, handling risks, and supporting incident management, with hybrid office/remote work and opportunities for career development across bp.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, maintenance, or service delivery environments.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, contractors, OEMs, or service partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Knowledge of operational risk management, safety and compliance requirements in field operations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve charger uptime, reduce operating costs, and enhance customer experience across the EV charging network.
• Provide operational leadership, escalation support and subject matter expertise across day-to-day network operations, including back-up support for incident, fault and ticket management activities and the successful transition of new sites into operational service.
• Lead performance management and governance of OEMs, maintenance partners, and service providers, ensuring contractual and operational performance targets are achieved.
• Own the development and continuous enhancement of operational standards, maintenance programmes, and ways of working to support reliable and scalable network operations.
• Support operating model evolution, commercial optimisation activities, and cross-functional initiatives that improve network efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Deliver operational performance reporting, risk management, and safety oversight, translating data into actionable insights and improvement opportunities.
• Support projects and initiatives to drive business performance, asset optimisation, customer experience and cost optimisation.
