Job summary

Ampol is seeking a Reliability Manager for Energy Solutions based in Sydney, with flexibility for Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland or Wellington. You will lead the Reliability Team across Australia and New Zealand, setting strategy, governance and improvement programs for EV charging, solar and battery assets.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Operations, you’ll drive asset safety, uptime, budgeting and performance reporting, while collaborating with Engineering, Risk, Deployment and Commercial teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Process.
• 7+ years in Engineering Services or Facilities Maintenance with leadership.
• Experience creating strategy, governance, and performance frameworks.
• Proven track record delivering improvements via structured programs.
• Strong reporting, analytics, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract management, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Reliability Team and set governance for assets across Australia and New Zealand.
• Set strategy, standards, and governance for maintenance and reliability.
• Monitor asset safety, uptime, and maintenance compliance.
• Plan medium- and long-term asset strategies and investment recommendations.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, accruals, purchase orders, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Risk, Deployment, Commercial, and Finance.
