Job summary

Harmony New Energy Auto Pro Servicing Pty Ltd is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager for BYD Homebush, part of Harmony Auto, a leader in Australia’s EV luxury market. You will support the Sales Manager and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer experience and dealership profitability.

Key duties include overseeing sales, finance, service and parts, driving sales strategies, mentoring staff, and maintaining compliance with standards while coordinating marketing initiatives and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales or dealership operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive sales and service processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with dealership software (e.g., Pentana, Reynolds & Reynolds).
• Customer-focused with ability to manage client relationships.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dealership operations with Sales, Finance, Service and Parts.
• Ensure staff follow policies and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Support recruiting, training and mentoring dealership employees.
• Monitor financial performance and profitability.
• Develop strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed.
• Manage daily admin tasks including reporting, scheduling and stock.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and safety standards.
• Assist in planning marketing strategies and dealership events.
