Job summary

APM is seeking a proactive End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our Digital and Infrastructure team in Brisbane. In this hands-on role you will deploy, manage, optimise, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices and workplace technologies that enable our people to work securely and efficiently.

You will design and run modern EUC environments, collaborating with Digital, Infrastructure and Security teams to keep our end-user estate secure, scalable, and reliable using Intune, SCCM/MECM,

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in End User Computing, Desktop Support, or IT Operations.
• Strong experience supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile device platforms.
• Experience with endpoint management tools such as: Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Nerdio.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
• Experience supporting application deployment and endpoint security initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of desktops, laptops, and end-user devices.
• Deliver applications, patches, updates, and software deployments across the organisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user computing issues.
• Develop and implement end-user computing strategies and roadmaps.
• Design and support EUC architectures to meet performance, security, scalability, and resilience requirements.
• Manage and support technologies including: VDI, DaaS, and application virtualisation solutions.
• Monitor and optimise EUC environments to improve performance and user experience.
• Apply best practices for capacity planning, resource allocation, and system maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain security controls including multi-factor authentication, encryption, and access management.
• Identify, prioritise, and remediate vulnerabilities within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve workplace technology services.
