APM is seeking an End User Computing Engineer to join our Digital and Infrastructure team in Sydney. You will deploy, manage, and optimise desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, delivering software updates and ensuring secure, high-performing EUC environments.

You will collaborate with Digital, Infrastructure and Security teams to design modern desktop and application delivery solutions, including VDI/DaaS, with a strong focus on security and user experience.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in End User Computing, Desktop Support, or IT Operations.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile device platforms.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Nerdio.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
  • Experience supporting application deployment and endpoint security initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deliver applications, patches, updates, and software deployments across the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user computing issues.

Join APM and help deliver a seamless, secure, and high-performing digital workplace experience for our users. We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our Digital and Infrastructure team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, optimisation, and support of end-user devices, applications, and workplace technologies that enable our people to do their best work. As the subject matter expert for EUC services, you will play a key role in designing and supporting modern desktop, mobility, virtual desktop, and application delivery environments while ensuring security, reliability, and an exceptional user experience.About The Role You will be responsible for the technical management and ongoing improvement of APM's end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, application delivery platforms, and virtual desktop technologies. Working closely with Digital, Infrastructure, and Security teams, you will ensure our end-user technology estate remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of desktops, laptops, and end-user devices.
  • Deliver applications, patches, updates, and software deployments across the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user computing issues.
  • Develop and implement end-user computing strategies and roadmaps.
  • Design and support EUC architectures to meet performance, security, scalability, and resilience requirements.
  • Manage and support technologies include:
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
    • Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS)
    • Application virtualisation solutions
  • Monitor and optimise EUC environments to improve performance and user experience.
  • Apply best practices for capacity planning, resource allocation, and system maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain security controls including multi-factor authentication, encryption, and access management.
  • Identify, prioritise, and remediate vulnerabilities within agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve workplace technology services.
About You You are a customer-focused technology professional who enjoys solving problems and improving the digital experience for end users. You bring strong technical knowledge across endpoint technologies and thrive in a hands-on environment.Required Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in End User Computing, Desktop Support, or IT Operations.

Desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Industry certifications relevant to End User Computing, Microsoft technologies, or endpoint management.
  • ITIL certification or exposure to ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
  • Experience working with VDI, DaaS, and virtualisation technologies.
