Magna Constructions Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks an Estimator/Supervisor to lead reinstatement works from initial site assessment through to completion. You will liaise with insurers, insureds and subcontractors, preparing reports, scope of works and quotations.

With a minimum of 3 years in building supervision, you will support restoration projects across multiple sites, travel as needed, and uphold Health & Safety standards while contributing to a growing Brisbane team.

Magna Constructions Pty Ltd is a leading residential and commercial construction company specialising in insurance building repairs, reinstatement and restoration services across multiple states.

Our experienced team delivers building repair and restoration solutions for a wide range of insured events, including flood, fire, water damage, mould and catastrophic storm damage. We work closely with insurers, loss adjusters, customers, contractors and other key stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes while providing a high level of service throughout the claims and repair process.

About the role

The Estimator/Supervisor will be an integral part of the reinstatement works. You will be responsible for the initial on-site assessment through to supervising repair works and will be a key contact for our customers, clients and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities:

Attend site to review and assess building damage

Prepare detailed and accurate reports, scope of works and quotations

Liaise with the insurer, insured's and contractors, maintaining a high level of communication

Develop a strong rapport with all stakeholders

Ensure the smooth running of reinstatement works from start to finish across multiple sites including management of multiple contractors

Ensure completion of works are within time and budget criteria

Always maintain a high level of Health and Safety, ensuring all industry standards are met

Provide support for the restoration team – out of hours work may be required

Potential for regional and interstate travel required to provide support during catastrophic events

The role is subject to a National Police Check

Skills and experience:

Demonstrated building knowledge with a minimum of 3 years Building Supervision experience

Trade background preferred and restoration knowledge considered an advantage

A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of a highly successful, KPI driven team

Strong organisational and time management skillsand meticulous attention to detail

High level customer service, communication and computer skills including Microsoft Office

Ability to understand and adapt to our clients and customers' needs

Insurance industry knowledge is an advantage but not essential

Must have a current and valid driver's licence
