Job summary

Marble Group in Sydney, NSW is seeking an experienced Estimating professional to manage production estimating across residential developments. You will report to the Estimating Manager and work with a high-caliber team to deliver accurate pricing, BOQs, and documentation.

The role requires a Diploma in Building and Construction, at least 3 years of estimating experience, and hands-on use of estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience with a residential builder or developer is preferred.
• Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
• Prior experience using estimating software and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing with supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors

Responsibilities

About the Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of production estimating across a range of developments.

Duties

• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
• Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
• Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services

Skills & Experience

• Base salary of $100K - $120k + superannuation
