Job summary

PCD Civil Retaining Walls, expanding Civil Supply & Installation for concrete sleeper retaining walls, seeks an experienced Estimator/Draftsperson to join our team in Narangba, north of Brisbane. You will work on diverse projects, preparing estimates and drafting plans with accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in estimating or drafting in construction, strong English communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within Estimating or Draftsperson position in Construction
• Drafting qualifications highly preferred but not required
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal staff, subcontractors and the management team
• Experienced with the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, proficient is highly essential in AutoCAD and Revit
• Understanding of Construction terminology and processes in terms with engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Determining construction methods, materials, quality standards, drafting, interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures.
• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, civil plans, specifications, and related documents
• Identify labour, material, time requirements by studying proposals, civil plans, specifications, and related documents
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
• Present prepared estimate by assembling, displaying numerical and descriptive information
• Ensure all plans comply with building requirements

PACKAGE

• $80,000 – $100,000 + Super (Negotiable depending on experience)
