Job summary

Pure Source Recruitment is seeking a people-focused coordinator to support the Estimating team and subcontractor networks in Brisbane. The role prioritises relationship-building, clear communication and the proactive management of tasks to keep tenders moving.

Key duties include inviting subcontractors to price projects, following up on quotes, updating records and coordinating meetings, rooms and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a relationship-focused coordination, administration or support role.
• Ability to manage regular contact with a range of people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to support the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact between the Estimating team and subcontractors, building strong, productive working relationships
• Coordinate invitations to price upcoming projects, identifying and contacting relevant subcontractors and issuing the necessary documentation
• Follow up on pricing requests, monitor responses and help keep the estimating process on track against tight tender deadlines
• Communicate with subcontractors throughout the process, providing updates and letting them know when they have or haven't been successful in securing work
• Maintain accurate records of invitations, quotes, subcontractor details and follow up activities
• Work closely with the Estimating team to understand project requirements, anticipate needs and provide proactive support
• Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors, answering incoming calls and responding to general enquiries
• Coordinate meeting rooms, deliveries, couriers, office supplies and other facilities
• Provide general administrative support across the business, taking a practical, hands on approach and pitching in whenever needed
