Ultra Tech Plumbing Pty Ltd in Casula, NSW is seeking an experienced Equipment Hire Manager to lead equipment hire operations, fleet logistics and asset management across projects.

You will oversee bookings, maintenance, credit terms and procurement planning, ensuring safe, efficient use of plant and vehicles while supporting revenue growth and project delivery.

Formación

• Minimum three years’ experience in equipment hire
• Experience with fleet management and project logistics
• Valid Australian Class C driver’s licence
• White Card (Construction Induction Training)
• Proficiency in Excel and basic admin tasks

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and control daily equipment operations, including dispatch, returns and maintenance.
• Coordinate allocation and movement of machinery, vehicles and equipment between projects.
• Manage bookings, hire arrangements, supplier quotations and hire contracts.
• Determine credit terms and inform purchasing decisions.
• Monitor inventory, fleet availability and servicing schedules.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in safe, serviceable condition.
• Maintain equipment records, service histories and utilisation reports.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and safety standards.

Task & responsibilities What You'll Do Oversee and control daily equipment operations, including equipment dispatch, returns and maintenance. Coordinate the allocation and movement of machinery, vehicles and equipment between projects and work sites. Manage equipment bookings, hire arrangements, supplier quotations and hire contracts where required. Determine credit terms and facilities to be offered to customers Analyse market supply and demand to inform purchasing decisions Make recommendations regarding equipment procurement and planning to support the company's operational requirements. Monitor inventory, fleet availability and servicing schedules. Liaise with equipment hire suppliers, mechanics, contractors and project personnel. Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, serviceable and operational condition. Maintain accurate equipment records, service histories and utilisation reports. Monitor equipment costs and identify opportunities to improve utilisation and reduce unnecessary hire expenditure. Ensure compliance with relevant work health and safety requirements and equipment safety standards. Qualification & experience What We're Looking For: Minimum three years’ experience in equipment hire, plant management, logistics or construction operations. Familiarity with construction plant, machinery and equipment. Strong organisational, team leadership and coordination skills. A valid Australian Class C driver’s licence. White Card (Construction Induction Training). A sound understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and equipment safety. Basic computer and administrative skills, including email, Excel and equipment management systems. Nice to Have (but not essential): Excavator or other relevant plant operating experience. Heavy vehicle or haulage truck licence. Certificate III or IV in Business, Logistics or a relevant mechanical trade.
