Job summary

Rapid Equipment Hire in Queensland is seeking a dedicated Hire Controller to join our head office in Kunda Park, Maroochydore. You will deliver outstanding service to customers, generate quotes, manage pricing and bookings for a wide range of construction tools and machinery.

The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously, and a readiness to support deliveries, coordinate pick ups, and assist with loading equipment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire/construction or civil sectors.
• Forklift license and White Card preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Good time management and scheduling skills.
• Willingness and capability for heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Generate quotes, provide pricing and availability, and book hire equipment.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Upsell at every opportunity and learn about machinery from small tools to large equipment.
• Co-ordinate with mechanics in the workshop.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading and occasional site deliveries.
• Work as part of a well-established team with overtime when needed.
