Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a Qualified Horticulturist to maintain exceptional outdoor environments across premium sites in Sydney's City and Eastern Suburbs. You’ll join a skilled team, taking pride in high-profile landscapes and delivering outstanding presentation standards.

Responsibilities include turf and landscape maintenance, planting, pest and nutrient management, and safe operation of horticultural equipment. A Certificate III and a valid driver’s licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens (essential).
• Experience in commercial or high-end horticultural maintenance.
• Strong plant identification and garden maintenance knowledge.
• Current driver’s licence.
• White Card and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, mulching and weeding.
• Garden and landscape maintenance to premium presentation standards.
• Planting, seasonal garden displays and landscape enhancements.
• Identifying and treating plant pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies.
• Operating and maintaining horticultural tools, machinery and irrigation systems.
• Supporting turf renovation and improvement projects.
• Assisting with task coordination and mentoring within the team where required.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Qualified Horticulturist, you'll play an important role in maintaining exceptional outdoor environments to the highest presentation standards. You'll work alongside a skilled team and may have opportunities to provide guidance and support to junior team members.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• A current driver's licence


• White Card and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
