Job summary

Green by Nature in Melbourne is seeking a qualified horticulturist to join our team. You will lead horticultural maintenance, perform mowing, pruning, mulching, and fertilising, and maintain gardens and lawns to premium standards.

You will operate tools and irrigation safely, participate in seasonal planting, turf renovation, and landscape projects, and collaborate with staff to support events.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workflows and share knowledge.

About You

You have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens and excellent working knowledge of all of the tools and equipment used in the field, such as hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and some petrol operated equipment.

You are willing to obtain a White Card and Working with Children's check if you don't already have them.

You pride yourself on your well-honed communication skills.

Most importantly you have proven ability to effectively prioritise workflows, impart knowledge to others and be a mature and reliable team player.
