Redland City Council is seeking an Assistant Treatment Plant Operator to kick-start a rewarding career in the wastewater industry. You will assist with operation and monitoring across multiple sites, supported by on-the-job training and a fully funded Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Wastewater).

You’ll learn hands-on process monitoring, sampling and routine inspections while growing with a supportive team on Queensland’s Redlands Coast.

Qualificações

• Entry-level role supporting operation and monitoring of wastewater plants.
• Opportunity to gain Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Wastewater) with full support.
• Must have a valid C class driver’s licence or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with operation and monitoring of wastewater treatment plants across multiple sites.
• Support Plant Operators with routine inspections, checks, maintenance and process monitoring.
• Collect samples, perform basic laboratory testing, and assist monitoring processes.
• Identify and report operational issues, equipment faults and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with staff and contractors to maintain safe, efficient plant operations.
• Assist with general housekeeping and facility maintenance.
