Job summary

Unisys in Canberra, ACT, is seeking an Assoc Tech Field Engineer to provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT equipment while assisting with IMAC activities across client environments.

The role requires a baseline security clearance, a high school diploma or GED, and up to 1 year of IT support experience. You will follow documented processes, work in a team, and focus on customer service and SLA

Qualifications

• At least baseline Security Clearance is mandatory.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Up to 1 year of experience in IT support, desktop support, field services, or a related technical role.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripheral devices.
• Perform basic installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IT equipment.
• Support IMAC activities (Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes) across client environments.
• Assist with network, server, device, and application testing activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of service requests while meeting SLA commitments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the service management system.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Follow established operational procedures, compliance requirements, and technical standards.
