Job summary

Smart Business Systems is seeking a motivated Helpdesk and IT Support Technician in Kedron, Brisbane. You will provide front-line IT support across Australia, handling tickets, backups, and hardware deployment while collaborating with senior technicians on diverse projects.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; we value enthusiasm to learn, ownership, and proactive problem-solving. A local transport option is required for occasional onsite work.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcome with enthusiasm to develop IT skills.
• Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking preferred.
• Diploma in Information Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manage, monitor, and update support tickets.
• Monitor and manage client backup systems.
• Build, troubleshoot, and deploy IT hardware.
• Perform onsite hardware and software installations and troubleshooting.
• Undertake onsite client work on rare occasions only as required.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (creation, removal, maintenance).
• Receive and manage stock within the warehouse.
• Coordinate freight and dispatch to customers and clients.
• Support and collaborate with senior technicians across various projects.
