Job summary

Are Media is seeking a Buying & Product Development Coordinator to kick-start a career in buying with Are Direct, the distribution arm of Are Media. You will help develop private-label and exclusive ranges, coordinate with overseas suppliers and support sales analysis to identify category opportunities.

This entry-level role focuses on learning the buying process from concept to market. You’ll work closely with the Head Buyer and cross-functional teams to ensure launches are set up with

Qualifications

• Around a year of experience in a commercial, retail, wholesale, customer service or office environment.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple products, samples, deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development across private-label and exclusive ranges, managing samples, product information, range plans, approvals and launch timelines from concept through to market.
• Work with overseas suppliers, factories and sourcing agents to coordinate quotations, specifications, samples, production timelines and orders.
• Support commercial decision-making through sales reporting, trend and competitor analysis and range planning.
• Bring new products to market by coordinating product data, testing and QA documentation, packaging and imagery, and coordinating with Marketing, Ecommerce, Operations, Freight and inventory teams.
