Job summary

Marketplacer seeks a Solutions Engineer to join its APAC Sales team, bridging business goals and technical capability. You’ll engage enterprise clients, run demos, and articulate ROI while leveraging AI as part of a proactive pre-sales approach.

You’ll work with e-commerce SaaS, collaborating with sales, product, and engineering to craft compelling, value-driven solutions that align with client needs and strategic roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering.
• 4-5 years experience or comparable experience.
• Background in e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or related SaaS technologies.
• Strong understanding of APIs, headless architecture, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to use AI and build AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead technical dynamics in sales meetings.
• Run tailored product demonstrations and lead technical discovery sessions.
• Articulate value propositions to executives and client technical teams.
• Craft well-scoped, value-driven technical proposals matching client goals with platform capabilities.
• Keep deal cycles moving swiftly and coordinate with delivery teams for handovers.
