RACQ is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape the architecture direction across mobility, home and energy domains in Queensland. You will develop target-state architectures, strategic roadmaps and provide guidance to solution architects to align technology decisions with RACQ’s transformation priorities.

You will lead architecture reviews, establish governance, mentor others and ensure investments are secure and scalable to deliver member-focused outcomes while simplifying the technology

Descrizione del lavoro

As Enterprise Architect, you’ll shape RACQ’s enterprise architecture direction by developing target-state architectures, strategic technology roadmaps and providing support and guidance to solution architects relevant to your domain. You’ll provide enterprise-wide architectural guidance to guide technology decision making that reduces complexity, strengthens capability and supports RACQ’s transformation priorities.

This is an opportunity to influence RACQ’s future technology direction and help shape architecture decisions that support long-term transformation, simplification and member-focused outcomes.

About the role

This role will primarily focus on the business domains of mobility (roadside assistance and automotive services), home and energy, and corporate functions. You’ll work with leaders and Technology teams to translate organisational strategy into clear architectural direction. Through trusted advice, governance and assurance, you’ll ensure technology investments are secure, scalable and aligned with RACQ’s long-term objectives. In this role, you will:

• Develop enterprise architecture strategies, capability models and target-state roadmaps.
• Establish architecture principles, standards and governance practices.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide assurance for complex initiatives.
• Define future-state business, information, application, integration and technology architectures.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the technology landscape and support modernisation.

About you

You’re a strategic and collaborative architecture professional who can turn complex business and technology challenges into clear, practical direction. You build trusted relationships, think beyond immediate delivery needs and influence decisions through expertise, sound judgement and a strong enterprise-wide perspective.

• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture and strategic technology planning.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks and practices.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical architecture direction and investment recommendations.
• Broad architecture experience across enterprise-wide business and technology environments.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies, business value and implementation risks.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
