Job summary

Gilroy Catholic College Castle Hill in Castle Hill NSW is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our school community and enrich students' learning.

This temporary full-time position covers leave until Term 3, 2027, with a negotiable start date. The role requires qualifications to teach English for Stages 4–6 and a commitment to ongoing professional growth within the CSPD framework.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student).
• NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted).
• Statements of Service.
• Commitment to meeting CSPD's Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Qualifications to teach English Stages 4–6.
• Strong knowledge of explicit teaching and evidence-based approaches to English teaching and learning.
