Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics from an Australian university.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering and other SAGE departments to deliver client solutions.
• Under supervision, support a range of industrial automation projects.
• Develop technical knowledge in execution and solution platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and submission of customer proposals.

Engineering Officers work under the supervision of more senior Engineers to deliver engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule and budget. You will have the opportunity to combine professional and technical learning, on-the job learning alongside ongoing mentoring whilst working on real-world, innovative projects.

In this role you will:

• Work collaboratively with Engineering and other SAGE departments in providing solutions for clients.

• Under supervision, have the opportunity to support a range of industrial automation projects across a diverse range of industry sectors.

• During tenure, advance one’s own knowledge on technical execution, practice and technical solution platforms.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to the development and submission of customer proposals.

Skills & Experience:

• Working towards an appropriate degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics from an Australian University.

• Understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.

• Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

• Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude.

• Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
