Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT in Darwin is seeking an experienced Technical Administration Officer – Engineering to support aviation engineering operations. You will provide high-level administrative, project and compliance support across the Engineering function, reporting to the Manager Maintenance Operations, NT.

You will coordinate training, monitor budgets, prepare reports and help maintain systems and processes, working with engineers, pilots and stakeholders in a safety-focused

• Proven administrative experience in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative and project support across the Engineering department, including plans, milestones and KPIs.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up actions.
• Prepare presentations, briefing papers, reports and budgets.
• Coordinate Engineering training and development activities and monitor expenditure.
• Maintain accurate staff and competency records, including compliance records in Air Maestro and LAAMP.
• Coordinate refresher training with providers and engineers, including CASA correspondence.
• Support engineering audits and track improvements in manuals and systems.
• Manage Engineering expenditure against budget allocations including travel and capital purchases.
