Job summary

Auto & General Australia is seeking a People Advisor to manage end-to-end employee relations cases and support leaders across the P&C operating service level. You will advise on ER issues, ensuring alignment with policy and risk tolerance, while contributing to the broader People & Culture program.

You will collaborate with Senior Partners, educate the business on the operating model, and support strategic P&C initiatives. This role offers hybrid work between North Lakes and Kawana.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of HR generalist or ER/IR experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Confident communicator with ability to engage across leadership levels.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end ER case management and resolve ER issues at the appropriate P&C level.
• Coach leaders on ER processes and provide live-case capability uplift.
• Prepare, participate in, and/or represent Fair Work or other jurisdictional cases as appropriate.
• Collaborate with IR team and stay updated on legislative developments to provide current advice.
