Job summary

Westpac is seeking an experienced Employee Care Consultant to deliver specialist injury management, wellbeing, and workplace support for employees facing health-related challenges. You will work with employees and leaders to craft recovery-at-work plans and workplace adjustments to keep people at work safely and sustainably.

You'll identify wellbeing and injury trends to strengthen prevention strategies and foster a safe, inclusive workplace across offices in Australia.

Qualifications

• Qualification in allied health with professional registration where applicable.
• Experience in injury management and return-to-work planning.
• Experience handling complex psychological and physical injury matters.
• Strong stakeholder management and risk awareness in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention, assessment and case management for health and wellbeing.
• Support employee return-to-work with appropriate care and workplace adjustments.
• Conduct ergonomic and hazard assessments and implement controls.
• Coordinate care with People, Claims, Employment Legal, HSW and other teams.
