United Rentals is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of the Trench Safety division. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll help drive sales growth, operational excellence, safety performance and customer satisfaction, while developing a high-performing team and stepping up to lead the branch when required.

You will manage branch operations, cooperate with the Sales team to grow accounts, and ensure excellent service.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a branch, operations, service, rental, construction, industrial or related environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to support sales and operational performance.
• Experience coaching, motivating and developing teams.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Support the day-to-day management of branch operations, profitability and customer service.
• Work with the Sales team to grow existing accounts and win new business.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver outstanding service.
• Coach, develop and support team members to achieve success.
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations, equipment hires and sales opportunities.
• Oversee workshop, yard and fleet operations to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
• Monitor branch performance, reporting and inventory management.
• Champion a strong safety culture through compliance, training and continuous improvement.
• Act as Branch Manager in their absence.
