Zusammenfassung

SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission is seeking an experienced policy analyst to deliver high-level analysis and support for emergency management programs. The role includes conducting evidence-based research, coordinating secretariat functions for state and national committees, and preparing briefings for SEMC, ANZEMC and NEMMM.

You will contribute to SAFECOM Board meetings and provide executive-level support to the Climate Ready Working Group.

Qualifikationen

• High-level policy analysis and advisory support for emergency management programs.
• Evidence-based research to inform best practice on emergency management issues.
• Secretariat duties for state and sector emergency management committees and working groups.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and contribute to briefings, papers and reports for ANZEMC, NEMMM and SEMC.
• Provide executive-level support for SAFECOM initiatives and meetings.
• Represent the Emergency Management Office on inter-agency committees as required.
• Support broader SAFECOM priorities in line with ASO6 duties.
