Job summary

The position requires a registered nurse/midwife with at least 3 years' post-registration experience, a graduate certificate in Emergency Nursing, and leadership ability to mentor students and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years full-time post-registration experience.
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing practice.
• Graduate certificate in Emergency Nursing.
• Experience leading student nurses and enrolled nurses.

Responsibilities

• Lead a clinical team within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network Emergency Department.
• Provide person-centred nursing/midwifery care and case management.
• Monitor care plans to ensure outcomes are achieved.
• Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in management, clinical and education activities.
