NSW Ambulance is seeking an Emergency Call Taker at Eveleigh. You will handle Triple Zero calls with composure, provide vital first aid guidance, and support callers until paramedics arrive. This permanent full-time role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster and will relocate to Sydney Olympic Park in 2027.

Training is provided; prior First Aid certification is preferred, with relocation readiness to the new site. Join a mission-critical team dedicated to saving lives and supporting the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to stay calm and focused while handling high-pressure emergency calls.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills under time pressure.
• Demonstrated empathy and clear communication with callers.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems used in control centres.
• First Aid certification required or willing to obtain before commencement.

Responsabilités

• Receive, record and progress emergency calls (Triple Zero) in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide lifesaving first aid guidance and information to callers, maintaining composure.
• Log relevant details accurately and ensure support is available until paramedics arrive.
• Be prepared to work across a 24/7 rotating roster at the Eveleigh Control Centre (relocating to Sydney Olympic Park in 2027).
