Job summary

Randstad has a major opportunity with a national emergency hotline team in Sydney CBD. We are seeking energetic Call Centre Agents to triage inbound emergency calls, connect callers to Police, Fire and Ambulance, and provide calm, empathetic support during Australia’s most critical moments.

Roles are night-focused, with shifts from 8pm to 6am, minimum three days per week. Competitive hourly rate plus superannuation, penalties, and flexible rosters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 shifts per week, including nights.
• Previous customer service or call centre experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment hearing test.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound emergency calls across Australia and connect callers to the required emergency organization.
• Ensure 100% quality and data accuracy on every single connection to embed a high standard of service.
• Strictly adhere to operational policies, procedures, and structured response systems.
• Treat every vulnerable caller with a deeply empathetic, patient, and consistent approach.
• Manage your own work performance to meet objectives and participate in coaching, QA calibration and development sessions.
