Job summary

Followmont Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our Emerald operation. The role is hands-on, leading day-to-day branch operations and driving a culture of safety, performance and customer service within a growing Queensland family business.

You will manage a team across operations and freight handling, develop strong customer relationships, and oversee budgets to improve efficiency while delivering outstanding local service to the Emerald community.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in transport or logistics or operations management.
• Strong understanding of transport operations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing people, performance and customer relationships.
• Financial and commercial understanding, including budgets and cost control.
• Forklift licence.
• HR licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead from the front and support a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the Emerald branch
