Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture is seeking a Site Engineer to lead a section of works on Snowy 2.0 in NSW, delivering time, cost, quality, safety and contractual targets. You will develop and implement QA procedures, risk assessments and construction documentation in collaboration with the site team.

With a background in civil engineering and a proven record on large-scale projects, you will mentor engineering staff, review design packages, manage programs and coordinate with subcontractors to

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar discipline.
• White Card and C Class Driver’s License.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the construction industry in a similar role.
• Experience on large scale construction projects or related works.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA is implemented at the work site and assist with QA understanding.
• Develop construction documentation (CAP, WPA, CMS).
• Carry out safety risk assessments with the site team.
• Review subcontractor IPC claims and manage design package reviews.
• Mentor engineering team and develop graduate/site engineers.
• Develop and maintain project programs and look ahead schedules.
• Coordinate design with technical team for site use.
• Monitor progress and ensure delivery against targets and budget.
