Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking an experienced Premier Banking Relationship Manager to own a portfolio of high net worth customers. You will deliver a personalised banking experience by integrating lending, deposits and specialist advice across CommBank's wealth and financial services.

You will understand each client’s full financial picture, anticipate needs, and coordinate teams to provide seamless service while growing the relationship with trust and integrity.

Qualifications

• Have experience managing a portfolio of customers in Premier or Private Banking, or come from a strong Home Lending background.
• Manage complex home and investment lending with confidence and capability.
• Work across a diverse range of products and needs, not lending alone.
• Bring commercial instinct and the confidence to identify opportunities that deepen customer relationships.
• Lead with a genuine customer mindset and a consistent record of high-quality, personalised service.
• Hold Certificate IV in lending or equivalent, along with relevant deposit and general insurance accreditation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen trusted, long-term relationships with Premier/Private Banking clients.
• Manage lending, deposits and everyday banking within the customer portfolio.
• Structure and support complex home and investment lending, maintaining ownership through the journey.
• Conduct financial health checks using insights to identify opportunities.
• Grow and retain deposits while guiding customers through their overall banking needs.
• Proactively manage the portfolio with regular, meaningful contact and referrals to specialists.
