Job summary

LOKEA PTY LTD is seeking a Security Service Technician in Melbourne to service and repair a broad range of commercial and residential electronic security systems across client sites.

You'll work on intruder detection, high-security access control, intercoms, and IP VMS, with a focus on quality workmanship, learning on the job, and safe driving. Training and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial and residential security systems.
• Willingness to learn and apply cost-effective fixes.
• Ability to work on-site across varied environments.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Security Service Technician to service, investigate and repair a broad range of commercial and residential systems. You’ll service and maintain a variety of electronic security technologies across client sites, including:

• Intruder detection
• High-security access control
• Large residential intercom systems
• IP VMS video systems

No two days look the same, and no one expects you to know every brand and model on day one. What matters is the capability and genuine interest to keep learning and to apply the most cost-effective fix for each system. Experience we’ll view favourably:

• Gallagher and/or Inner Range (or other access control systems)
• Bosch and other residential alarm systems
• High-security experience (not essential)
• Geutebruck, Milestone, NX Witness or other IP VMS experience
• Aiphone, Comelit and other intercom brands

What you’ll need

You must hold, or be able to obtain:

• A valid Victorian Security Licence
• A valid Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
• Industry White Card
• ACMA Cabler's Licence (or willingness to attain)
• Working

With Children Check

• Australian citizenship or a valid work permit
