Job summary

The Arnott’s Group is seeking a qualified Electrician at our Marleston manufacturing plant in South Australia. You will report to the Maintenance Coordinator and handle repairs and preventative maintenance on high-volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Key duties include servicing conveyors, recording work in the CMMS, and troubleshooting PLC-based systems while complying with safety and quality standards. The role involves a 12-hour night shift roster.

Qualifications

• Holds recognised Electrical Trade qualifications and an A-class electrical license.
• Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting in high-volume production preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices.

About the role:

We are seeking a qualified Electrician at our Marleston manufacturing plant. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Coordinator and will be responsible for repairs and maintenance to high volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment.

What your day looks like:

• Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery and conveyors.
• Working in compliance with quality and safety systems
• Recording maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS
• Trouble shooting on varied high-speed manufacturing equipment

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift roster (7 shifts per fortnight) on night shift
• Holds recognised Electrical Trade qualifications and an A-class electrical license is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices.
• Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting in high-volume production, preferably in the food industry.
