Job summary

The Arnott’s Group is seeking a Part-Time IT Technician to join our Shepparton site. You’ll work with the on-site IT Lead and Digital & Technology team to deliver hands-on support across laptops, devices, networks, and manufacturing systems.

This 12-month contract (3 days per week, 22.8 hours) offers exposure to Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, network infrastructure, and cyber security initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT devices, end users and workplace technology.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including cabling, VLANs and subnetting.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously in a manufacturing environment.
• Genuine interest in technology, cyber security and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for laptops, desktops, tablets, phones and printers.
• Maintain and configure Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Support Active Directory user and device management.
• Assist with Cisco networking, Wi-Fi and telephony systems.
• Troubleshoot plant-floor technologies, thin clients and manufacturing systems.
• Help maintain cyber security standards, asset registers and IT documentation.

About the Role:

At Arnott's, technology plays a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly. As our Part-Time IT Technician, you'll work alongside our on-site IT Lead and broader Digital & Technology team, providing hands-on support across our Shepparton manufacturing site.

This 12-month contract (3 days per week / 22.8 hours) has been created to support key capital projects while providing essential day-to-day IT support to our manufacturing and office teams. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, from Microsoft 365 and Windows devices through to network infrastructure, manufacturing systems and cyber security initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career, currently studying, or an experienced IT professional looking for flexibility and exposure to a complex manufacturing environment.

What Your Day Looks Like:
