Job summary

The Arnott’s Group is seeking a qualified Electrician at our Marleston manufacturing plant. You will report to the Maintenance Coordinator and be responsible for repairs and maintenance on high-volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include preventative and breakdown maintenance, ensuring compliance with quality and safety systems, and recording work in the CMMS. Experience with PLCs and night shift readiness are key.

Qualifications

• Requires Electrical Trade qualifications and A-class license.
• Experience with PLCs and high-volume production.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shift roster.
• Commitment to OH&S practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery and conveyors.
• Work in compliance with quality and safety systems.
• Record maintenance in the CMMS and perform corrective work.
• Troubleshoot on varied high-speed manufacturing equipment.

About the role:

We are seeking a qualified Electrician at our Marleston manufacturing plant. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Coordinator and will be responsible for repairs and maintenance to high volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment.

What your day looks like:

• Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery and conveyors.
• Working in compliance with quality and safety systems
• Recording maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS
• Trouble shooting on varied high-speed manufacturing equipment

The Ingredients for Success:

• Ability to work a 12-hour shift roster (7 shifts per fortnight) on night shift
• Holds recognised Electrical Trade qualifications and an A-class electrical license is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices.
• Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting in high-volume production, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, team orientation, and achievement drive.
