Job summary

Appoint Recruit seeks an experienced licensed electrician to coordinate training and competency activities across a major Queensland Government road infrastructure workforce. This role could suit an Electrical Trainer or Assessor, Electrical Supervisor, Leading Hand or experienced electrician who has trained apprentices, delivered workplace training or managed competency requirements.

Based at Nerang depot, you will coordinate training, maintain records and support practical training and

Qualifications

• Current Queensland open electrical work licence in the Electrical Mechanic class.
• Experience in electrical training, competency development, apprentice development or technical leadership.
• Ability to work onsite from the Nerang depot.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable but not essential.
• Experience across traffic signals, road lighting, ITS, civil electrical infrastructure, utilities, rail, mining or industrial environments would be well regarded.
