Electrical Trainer / Capability Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Trainer / Capability Coordinator to support technical training, competency and capability across electrical, ITS&E and civil electrical operations.

This is a practical technical role suited to a qualified and currently licensed Electrical Mechanic who has experience in electrical training, competency assessment and/or supporting electrical capability in construction, infrastructure or maintenance environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate electrical training, competency and assessment activities
• Maintain training plans, competency records and learning resources
• Deliver and support practical electrical training and knowledge transfer
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to apprentices, trainees and electrical workers
• Support electrical safety, quality and competency requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training programs and competency pathways

To be considered, you must have:

• Current, valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence – Electrical Mechanic
• C Class driver's licence
• Be Gold Coast based
• Experience in electrical training, competency or capability development

Experience in civil electrical, ITS, electrical construction or maintenance will be highly regarded, as will experience in electrical safety, auditing or incident investigation.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent is desirable.
