Job summary

Redwolf + Rosch is seeking an Electrical Capability Coordinator to join the Nerang-based team on a 12-month contract. The role coordinates technical capability, training and competency across electrical, ITS & Electrical and civil electrical disciplines to ensure safe, compliant operations on the Gold Coast.

You will coordinate training programs, deliver practical learning support, and mentor apprentices and supervisors to drive ongoing competency improvement.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
• Must hold a valid C Class Driver Licence.
• Location based on the Gold Coast (Nerang) – non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical training programs and maintain up-to-date competency records and evidence.
• Support delivery and content maintenance of civil electrical training with practical learning support.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and competency support to apprentices, trainees and project staff.
• Contribute to training schedules, competency pathways and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

A leading Queensland infrastructure and civil construction organisation is seeking an Electrical Capability Coordinator to join their team in Nerang. In this role, you will coordinate technical capability, training, and competency activities across electrical, Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical (ITS&E), and civil electrical disciplines to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Training & Competency: Coordinate technical training programs and maintain clear, current competency records, learning resources, and assessment evidence.


• Knowledge Transfer: Support the ongoing delivery and content maintenance of civil electrical training, providing practical learning support.


• Mentorship & Coaching: Deliver technical guidance, coaching, and competency support to apprentices, trainees, supervisors, and project managers.


• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of training schedules, competency pathways, continuous improvement initiatives, and succession planning for specialist capabilities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Licensing: Qualified Electrical Mechanic holding a current, valid Queensland Electrical Work Licence.


• Driving Licence: Valid C Class Driver Licence.


• Location: Must be based on the Gold Coast (non-negotiable).

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Train the Trainer: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or an equivalent qualification acceptable for delivery and assessment.


• Industry Experience: Proven background delivering electrical safety training within civil construction, electrical construction, or maintenance environments.


• WHS & Auditing: Qualifications or experience in workplace health and safety, conducting electrical safety/quality audits, or supporting formal workplace investigations.
