Job summary

Aecom Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Director level Electrical Engineer to join our national Building Engineering Team, based in Sydney or Perth. You will lead a large team of electrical engineers and modellers and contribute to landmark projects across Australia and New Zealand.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with Australian codes and drive excellence in project execution while mentoring a high-performance team in a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with 20+ years of consultancy experience delivering complex building services projects.
Chartered status with Engineers Australia (CPEng) or eligible for state registration (RPEQ/RPEV).

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects across key markets in Australia.
Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design to align with codes and standards.
Review design calculations, specifications, models and documentation for high-quality outcomes.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships and support business development to secure high-profile projects.
Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary services engineering team, fostering leadership and performance.
Contribute to ANZ Building Services capability and national strategy.
