Job summary

Genus Infrastructure is seeking Electricians for the Clean Energy Link North Project in Eneabba and Regans Ford, WA. The role operates on a 2:1 DIDO roster with 11-hour days, offering casual opportunities with potential for ongoing permanent employment.

Responsibilities include HV/LV cable installation, reading drawings, ensuring safety and quality, and coordinating with QA and commissioning teams across transmission, substations, and terminals.

Qualifications

• Australian Electrical Licence required.
• Experience on major infrastructure, transmission, substations or terminal projects.
• Experience with HV/LV installation and cable works.
• Ability to read electrical drawings/schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works across transmission, terminal and substation environments.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Complete HV and LV cable installation, glanding, terminations and testing.
• Undertake electrical testing and fault finding as required.
• Complete inspections and ensure works meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Complete QA documentation including ITPs, check sheets, test records and redline mark-ups.
• Identify and rectify defects and non-conformances.
• Work closely with Supervisors, QA and commissioning teams.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.

Genus Infrastructure is a leading Australian infrastructure services company delivering major projects across the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.
We’re looking for experienced Electricians to join our Clean Energy Link North Project, working across Eneabba and Regans Ford, WA on a 2:1 DIDO roster with 11-hour days.
This is a great opportunity to join a major renewable energy infrastructure project, with casual opportunities available and potential for ongoing permanent employment.
The Clean Energy Link North Project is a major renewable energy infrastructure project strengthening Western Australia’s electricity network and supporting the integration of renewable energy into the grid.
The project includes the construction and upgrade of transmission lines, substations and terminals across a large-scale infrastructure corridor north of Perth.
About the Role As an Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering electrical works safely, efficiently and to a high standard across the project. Key responsibilities include:

• Carry out electrical installation works across transmission, terminal and substation environments
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
• Complete HV and LV cable installation, glanding, terminations and testing

About You
We’re looking for experienced Electricians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a major infrastructure project.
You will ideally have:

• Australian Electrical Licence
• Experience working on major infrastructure, resources, transmission, substations or terminal projects
• Experience with HV/LV electrical installation and cable works
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team
• Previous FIFO/DIDO or remote project experience will be highly regarded
